Before Your Treatment

A little preparation goes a long way when it comes to achieving the most even and long-lasting results.

Exfoliate your skin before your appointment to remove dry or dead skin and create a smooth base for your tan.
Shave no sooner than 24 hr before your appointment.
Please arrive with clean skin and do not apply deodorant before your appointment, as this can affect how the tan develops.
Avoid applying body lotions, oils or other products immediately before your spray tan.
Loose, comfortable clothing is recommended after your treatment to help prevent rubbing while your tan develops.

After Your Treatment

Your tan will continue to develop after you leave the salon, so a little aftercare will help you achieve the best results.

Leave your tan to develop for approximately 8–10 hours before showering.
For your first shower, rinse with water only. Avoid soaps, shower gels and scrubs during this first rinse.
Once you have showered, gently pat your skin dry.
Moisturise every day to keep your skin hydrated and help your tan fade evenly.
Avoid long, hot baths, as these can encourage your tan to fade more quickly.
Avoid chlorinated swimming pools, as chlorine can affect the colour and longevity of your tan.
Avoid exfoliating until you are ready to remove your tan completely and prepare for your next treatment.

Is a Spray Tan Suitable for Everyone?

For your comfort and safety, Sienna X Spray Tan is not suitable for skin currently experiencing eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, extremely sensitive skin, open wounds or similar skin conditions.
